Accounts Payable Coordinator

Description

\n\t\t\t\t\t

- Demonstrating knowledge of technical accounting duties involving the maintenance and reporting of financial accounting data.\n- Observing, monitoring, collecting, and recording accounts payables data and assessing accuracy, validity, and integrity.\n- Coordinating and administering program activities and protocols; managing resources, monitoring activities, and assessing risks and quality control associated with the program.\n- Preparing documentation and creating financial reports.\n- Verifying and ensuring accuracy and validity of moderately complex transactions and examining accounting records to assure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.\n- Explaining and interpreting accounts payables information.\n- Reviewing, investigating, and resolving complex billing problems.\n- Developing and maintaining databases to assist in monitoring accounts payables and administrative activities.\n- Processing all invoices and payments\n- Review and verify all invoices and payment requests (3 way match) \n- Set invoices up for payment \n- Enter and upload invoices into system \n- Process expense reports\n- Prepare AP journal entries related to in-transit material\n- Post AP transactions to ledgers \n- Reconcile accounts payable transactions \n- Ensure payments are up to date\n- Prepare all payments for processing

- Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting/Finance emphasis preferred, but can consider associates degree as well.\n- Minimum of 3 years in an AP position.\n- Supervisory background helpful.\n- Oracle knowledge.\n- Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and other administrative procedures.\n- Demonstrated ability to perform AP analysis and make projections.\n- Ability to work under pressure to meet various timelines for start-up and month-end closing.\n- Excel experience preferred (picot tables - v look ups)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
