Description We are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Frisco, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer invoices from an A/P perspective. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Ensure accurate entry of invoice data into accounting system • Manage the receipt of invoices via mail, email, etc. • Collaborate closely with the IT team for fund requests and client approvals • Conduct daily payment activities in coordination with the accounting team • Verify and reconcile account statements to ensure Unity reflects accurate information • Utilize software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Oversee the process of coding invoices and check runs • Handle Account Reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy • Ensure efficient processing of customer credit applications • Maintain precise records of customer credit. Requirements • Demonstrable experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge and experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices • Strong skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP • Ability to handle high volumes of invoices and manage multiple priorities • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
