Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry. The position is for an Accounts Payable Clerk, based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, primarily focused on maintaining and managing customer accounts. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications. • Ensure customer credit records are accurate and up-to-date. • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status. • Carry out invoice processing tasks. • Use Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data. • Manage accounts payable, ensuring all payments are processed in a timely manner. • Code invoices accurately to maintain clear financial records. • Perform regular check runs to maintain account balance. • Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations • Demonstrated experience in Coding Invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Strong skills in Data Entry, with a focus on speed and precision • Extensive knowledge and experience in Invoice Processing, including verification and reconciliation tasks • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
