Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure invoices are processed and paid according to company policy, resolving any questions or issues related to accounts payable.
Responsibilities
+ Match invoices to online POs in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Enter non-PO invoices accurately and promptly.
+ Review invoice entries for accuracy.
+ Work with branches to ensure invoices are paid according to company policy.
+ Maintain positive relationships with branch offices and company suppliers.
+ Process and review at least 200+ invoices per week.
+ Handle purchase orders, check returns, and voids.
+ Communicate with vendors and call remittance addresses.
+ Manage ACH setup requests.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in invoice processing and purchase order management.
+ Experience with Accounts Payable.
+ Basic sorting/filtering skills within Microsoft Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
+ Experience in a client-facing role such as customer service, banking, financial advising, or loan processing (including internships).
Work Environment
This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. The work schedule requires onsite presence 3 days per week (including Mondays and Fridays), with the option to work remotely 2 days per week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
