Accounts Payable Clerk
Adecco is currently assisting a local company recruit for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Airport, HI area. This Accounts Payable Clerk job is full time, 40 hours per week opportunities, with starting pay rates of $18 to $21 per hour, DOE. Requirements: + Opens all incoming accounts payable invoices and incoming checks from vendors. + Enters all invoices into AP system (Daily/Weekly). Sets up new vendor accounts Submits invoices to Dept. heads for review and approval. + Process weekly payments to vendors, clients, etc. + Gives weekly check payments for signature to Jay and Natalie, or Jacelyn when Jay or Natalie is out of office. + Reconciles payable reports and statements from vendors. + Responds to accounts payable inquiries from vendors, clients, etc. + Issues Purchase Order numbers. + Matches invoices with proper backups. + Puts together daily customer deposits and posts payments to customers' accounts. **Qualifications:** + College degree is preferred but not required. + Six (6) months to one (1) year of financial accounting experience and a demonstrated ability in accounting. + Effective communication skills (i.e. verbal/written and listening skills). + Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. + Must be able to occasionally lift a minimum 20lbs.
