Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Prepares invoices for payment by verifying and completing transactions.Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting related documents and information including sorting branch mail and invoices.Prepares financial information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and preparing check run audit reports.Maintains accounting information by posting accounting transactions as required.Issuing debit and credit memos and running tapes of all payables.Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation and issuing stop payments or making adjustments as needed.Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.Maintains financial record by scanning/filing accounting documents as required.
Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications:
• Basic accounting knowledge with 3-5 years’ experience in accounts payable. Computer experience required. Possess good organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
