At FutureCare our Accounts Payable Clerks provide financial and administrative support for our accounting department to ensure payments are processed timely and they reconcile all operating expenses for accuracy and invoice validation.

Responsibilities Import monthly electronic files and match scanned invoices to batchScan invoices to be process through workflowUpdate Accounts Payable files to new paperless/workflow systemsAssist team members and other departments with support and documentation as requested including special projects such as month and year end closesRespond promptly to field vendor callsPerform statement and bank reconciliationsExtensive knowledge of sales and use tax calculationsUpdate and maintain accounting spreadsheetsAttend mandatory meetings or in-service as directed by the AR/PR ManagerAbides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and Corporate Compliance PlanOther relevant duties as assigned by the AR/PR Manager Qualifications 3+ years’ experience working experience as Accounts Payable ClerkBSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration a plus but not requiredSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel spreadsheetsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work independently and prioritize tasksStrong Analytic abilities Interested in this opportunity?
