Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in New York. This role is in the industry and requires you to handle invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations among other tasks. Responsibilities: • Handle the accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit card expenses, and employee expense reports in line with company policies and procedures. • Manage vendor payments ensuring they are made as per the agreed terms. • Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or variances. • Administer the preparation and processing of Positive Pay files for bank upload. • Investigate and resolve any issues related to payments, vendor inquiries, and discrepancies. • Assist in the month-end closing process. • Maintain up-to-date vendor information and W9 forms. • Prepare monthly files for capital expenditures. • Provide ad hoc reports as and when required. • Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Controller Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. • Must be capable of performing Check Runs. • Familiarity with Coding Invoices is necessary. • Strong Data Entry skills are expected. • Ability to process invoices efficiently. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel. • Experience with Oracle is a plus. • Knowledge of QuickBooks is beneficial. • Familiarity with SAP systems is desirable.
