Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is vital to ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: + Accurately process and verify vendor invoices with proper approvals + Execute timely payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers + Resolve vendor issues and maintain positive working relationships + Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and vendor statements + Review employee expense reports for policy compliance + Assist with accruals and reporting during month-end close + Follow internal controls and financial compliance guidelines + Maintain well-organized accounts payable records and documentation Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred + At least 2 years of corporate accounts payable experience + Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP, and skilled in Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies + Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor and internal collaboration + Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Team-oriented with experience working across departments Preferred: + Experience with electronic payment systems + Familiarity with 1099 reporting and tax compliance + Understanding of procurement and purchase order systems Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
