The Role

This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to sharpen their AP skills. The role will mainly focus on Accounts Payable tasks, with the main duties including invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliation and reporting, compliance management and management for internal and external stakeholder expectations. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, this role will require you to assist with administration within the office and the day-to-day financial tasks related to guest accounts, banking, invoicing and reconciliations.

You will work close with other departments to create smooth financial operations and uphold internal controls, you will ensure timely and accurate payments, and accuracy in invoice processing with firm adherence to company policies. You are supported by a knowledgeable and supportive Finance team, with experience ranging in different areas of Finance Accounting as well as across multiple industries.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

A tertiary degree in FinancePrevious experience in finance, preferably within hospitalityFlexibility and ability to work independently as well as in a teamDemonstrated time management skillsDemonstrated ability to meet deadlinesUnderstanding of requirements around month end/year end proceduresFull unrestricted and ongoing Australian working rights (Citizenship or Permanent Residency)
