Description We are on the hunt for a proficient Accounting Specialist for our operations based in Mitchell, Indiana, United States. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be tasked with the management of accounting functions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and auditing tasks. This role provides an exciting long term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable and receivable, and auditing tasks. • Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management. • Perform accounting functions, including management of Ceridian and Concur systems. • Implement and maintain the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for optimal business operations. • Execute ADP - Financial Services tasks to ensure smooth business operations. • Oversee billing functions and ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for discrepancies. • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally. • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
