Description We are seeking an Accounting Specialist based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is within the education industry and will be carried out on-site. The employment type for this position is a short-term contract with possibility for hire. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for various tasks revolving around data entry, customer service, disbursements, and cash receipts. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process credit applications from customers. • Maintain precise records of customer credit information. • Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts in a timely manner. • Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary. • Ensure all data entry tasks are completed with attention to detail and accuracy. • Handle disbursements and cash receipts. • Work with customized accounting software specific to the organization. • Interact with customers to provide top-notch customer service. • Work collaboratively with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve customer experiences. • Utilize skills in various accounting functions and software such as ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions.
