Job Description:
The Accounting Manager will manage the ERP localization by acting as Key user, support Champion business transformation in Benelux and perform various finance tasks related to the local entity being fully responsible for Benelux customers AR process from defining customer, to issuing invoices and collecting debts while also supporting Global Team with AP & basic tax tasks.
What are we looking for?Post-secondary diploma in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 5 years’ directly related work experience in an accounting capacity covering Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and basic tax reports (Intrastat, Sales Listing); or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experienceComputer competency with ERP systems, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheet programs and applicationsAccurately calculate, post, correct and manage accounting figures, organize and maintain financial records, and perform moderate to complex accounting reconciliationsEffective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyStrong work ethic and positive team attitude and team building skillsSound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skillsAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks, projects simultaneously.Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spokenWhat will be your key responsibilities?Local tasks:
Responsible for Benelux market accounts receivable process – customer intake and credit worthiness, invoices issue, collections, account reconciliationsPost/Reconcile cash receipts, credit notes, and invoices to either Customer Accounts or the General LedgerPrepare weekly bank deposit with associated journal entries, ensuring the deposit is made in a timely fashionCoordinate together with Sales Representative & Logistic Coordinator the Return Authorization/claims from Benelux customersCoordinate together with Sales Representative & Logistic Coordinator the Return Authorization/claims from Benelux customersPrepare and submit basic tax reports – Intrastat, Sales Listing, VAT reportsParticipate in the system development to localize current ERPGlobal support
