Accounting Manager-Chester Springs, PA:

The Accounting Manager's position is critical in modeling CarShop values and culture by setting the ethical standards in financial dealings in a gracious atmosphere. With direct guidance from the Area Controller, CFO and the internal audit team, using Generally Accepted Accounting Practices, and following PAG guidelines.

What Will You Do?

Communicate with the Area Controller, President, CFO internal audit team, GM department managers, customers, associates and vendors, regularly and as necessary, in a manner which reflects our culture in order to insure efficient, positive and timely support of stores operations. Prepare, maintain and submit as required all necessary accounting statements for the store. Assist with the annual budget as requested. Plan, organize and daily monitor the activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable, billing and reporting of expense irregularities in keeping with the overall aims and requirements of the company. Mentor and manage all staff reporting to the position so as to effectively evaluate, train, motivate, grow, and instill company culture in your team. As required, recruit for "bench strength" including your potential replacement and train top performers who are able to not only fulfill their immediate function but grow in responsibility and contribution to the company. Assist the Area Controller by coordinating with all other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant accounting controls for the overall operating functions of the company.

What Skills do you Bring?

The ideal candidate will be required to have 3+ more years of experience in Dealership Accounting. Proven ability to effectively communicate with multiple teams and with associates at various levels Previous experience in managing a team of accounting talent is preferred but not required Ability to timely and accurately manage all financial business of the store location including management updates, and reporting these in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with the annual plan. Maintain a high level of accounting accuracy while following all P&P Guidelines to ensure audit compliance. Preferred experience with Reynold & Reynolds system. Must have strong experience in excel.
