COMPENSATION

Annual Minimum - Maximum$150,000.00 - $200,000.00

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts receivable supervision, corporate reporting requirements, and management reporting. The Accounting Manager will assist upper management with the preparation of accurate, thorough, and quality financial and operating as well as assist with completing the month end close process and various account reconciliations including accounts receivable oversight, budgets/forecasts, debt service coverage/break even analysis and year-end audit/review preparation support. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. 

Prepare and maintain supporting documentation, detail general ledger, financial statements, balance sheet analysis, journal entries, and other supporting schedules and calculations 

Oversee the staff preparation and review of journal entries to the general ledger and other sub-systems.

Prepare and review financial statements for individual reporting units and consolidated companies’ Balance sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow.

Ready financial statements and review them for accuracy, including reviewing monthly P&L reports to provide answers to management questions. 

Analyze financials against budget and perform trend and flux analysis. Review preliminary analysis prepared by Staff Accountants and work in conjunction with FP&A. 

Analyze actual labor, material, and overhead cost against standard/budget; research and explain any variance in coordination with FP&A group. 

Review inventory valuation reports and adjustments and make recommendations accordingly to the Controller. 

Prepare and oversee year-end reporting and close; maintain the Chart of Accounts. 

Prepare and oversee year-end audit and tax return schedules. 

Track deadlines for the timely payments of all debt, real estate taxes, insurance, distributions and other time sensitive payments.  

Responsible for oversight of Capitalization / Depreciation ledgers  

Monitor and review weekly cash flow to anticipate needs/excess; including timely communications to applicable parties. 

Handle preparation of the annual budget and forecasts needs. 

Review tax filings prior to filing with government agencies.  

Ensure that accounting needs are completed within required timelines.  

Work closely with various departments to ensure data integrity and delivery of required expense analysis against budget is prepared in a timely manner, including coordinating with FP&A. 

Review accounting processes and procedures, make recommendations, and implement improvements with management. Ensure internal controls processes are followed. As necessary, design and enhance internal control procedures and oversees implementation with management. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited four-year college.

Two years of experience as an Accounting Manage

Five years of general accounting experience

NetSuite experience

 High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large data sets, plus the ability to be able to filter and manipulate data and populate data template uploads and see patterns in trends is important. 

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results under strict deadlines. 

Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. 

Highly working knowledge of general payroll protocols and accounting principles.

Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills; exemplary organizations skills.  

Experience in multi-subsidiary accounts.  

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CPA – active or inactive 

Public accounting experience and/or Fortune 500, 5 days close experience a plus 

DRUG TESTING POLICY
