Accounting Manager
Job Title: Accounting Manager Job Description Manages all general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and billing staff and activities. Oversees reporting to US from Belgium, Italy, and Singapore locations. Responsible for budgeting for US, Belgium, Italy, and Singapore. Responsibilities + Ensures compliance and maintains sound accounting controls for all revenues, expenses, disbursements, and receipts by adhering to corporate and divisional accounting policies and procedures. + Ensures timely preparation of accurate monthly financial statements for U.S. and overseas locations by overseeing and/or reviewing all general accounting activity in the general ledger. + Prepares various exhibits, analyses, schedules, journal entries, tax packages, and corporate reports for all ABI locations. + Coordinates budgeting inputs and information from all ABI locations during preliminary and final profit plans. + Monitors freight costs. + Performs internal audits and write-ups as needed. + Monitors cash for all ABI companies. + Reviews monthly reporting and account analysis and suggests accrual adjustments to the VP of Finance. + Ensures that all quarterly and annual financial workpapers are complete, accurate, and timely for all ABI locations, and are forwarded to corporate headquarters according to schedule. + Reviews accounts payable disbursements (ACH/check) for all vendor/supplier payments, expense reimbursements, commissions, and customer rebates. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in accounting or a similar field. + 1+ years of experience overseeing general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and billing for an international company with $10M to $300M in revenue. + 2+ years of experience handling financial statement preparation, budgeting, analysis, maintaining the general ledger, and internal audits. + 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting in an accounting role. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with general ledger, financial statement preparation, journal entries, monthly reporting and analysis, budget inputs for final profit plans, monitoring freight costs, and internal audits. Work Environment Onsite - 5 days a week with an opportunity to gain one day work from home based on performance. The accounting department consists of 8 people, and you will report to the accounting supervisor.
