The Real Estate and Workplace Services Accounting Operations and Compliance team supports the Real Estate organization in creating, delivering, and servicing the company’s inspirational work environments around the globe.

To accomplish this mission, we are seeking a highly motivated, analytical-minded, and detail-oriented individual to join our Real Estate Accounting Operations and Compliance team as an Associate Manager The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting in the overall budget management for various projects/programs within the organization, reporting on key metrics to highlight the team’s performance, and play a critical role in enhancing existing processes and procedures.
This position involves close collaboration with program and project owners within a business group, as well as business partners in Finance, Corp Accounting, Procurement, and Lease Administration.

This position is an office-hybrid (3 days per week) role based in Indianapolis.

Your Impact:

Lead the creation and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline operationsDevelop and implement a comprehensive audit plan for the organization’s budgeting system, ensuring accurate expenditures aligned with approved budgetsCoordinate and collaborate with business partners in the Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report organizations to meet business needs and ensure compliance with internal policies/proceduresCreate and promote key performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.Drive initiatives to enhance reporting and analytical tools, improving overall process efficiency.Provide regular updates on budget status, identifying variances and offering actionable recommendations.Conduct training sessions for business partners on procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding.Assist with ad-hoc initiatives and projects as needed


EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree required with 7+ years experience in Accounting/Finance; experience with Fixed Asset Accounting and Real Estate experience desirable.Excellent spoken and written communication, receptive listening skills, and ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to a variety of audiencesAbility to learn quickly in a dynamic environmentWin as a team spirit and ability to work with both virtual and global teamsExcellent influencing and business intimacy skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAble to remain adaptable and flexible.Open to continuous change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and working in an ambiguous business environment
