Summary:
This position will manage the Workday Accounting Center application. This will include the design, testing, and maintenance of accounting data into the application, ensure consistency of accounting rules across business lines and applications, and manage controls ensuring all data entering the application is accurate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with Accounting teams to build, design, test, implement accounting rules within Workday Accounting Center.Identify efficiency opportunities and develop strategy to source data and leverage Workday application to automate manual entriesSupport daily processes including the development and management of data controls to ensure that all required files have been received and processed. Resolve posting errors for items that do not post correctly during daily processesProject support - participate in business driven and finance led projects, identify impacts to daily processes, support regression testing or development of any business processes changes that may be impactedPerforms other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree10 Years in accounting or financePreferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting General Ledger or ERP applicationsExperience in managing Finance data processes and controlsExperience working in the Workday Accounting Center EnvironmentGraduate degree in accounting or finance. Financial Services ExperienceSuperior organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. High Attention to DetailAbility to act as a change agent. Experience supporting Finance Transformation Initiatives, particularly ERP implementationsGraduate degree in accounting or finance.
