ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional, and service-oriented **Accounting Clerk I** to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide accounting and administrative support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Performs general accounting activities: + Including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of Expense Reports, Travel Authorizations, Accounts payable/Vouchers, and other administrative duties. + Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with FAR, DFAR, JTR, TOR, and Company policy. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance. + Develops skills to perform basic activities in own job. + Understands how the assigned duties integrate with others in the team. + Uses existing procedures to solve routine problems; has limited discretion. + Impacts the accuracy and quality of own work. + Performs other related duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications** : + Must be US Citizen. + 2+ years of relevant work experience. + Areas of expertise Accounts Payable, Expense Report Audit, Travel Cost analysis, Microsoft Excel. + Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems. + Basic mathematical skills. + Good verbal communication skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. + Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening. + Must have a High School Diploma or GED. **Desired Qualifications:** + Familiarity with military or commercial accounting/finance experience. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time. + Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
