Description
We are offering a contract for permanent employment for an Accounting Clerk in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This role is vital to the organization's operations, focusing on key accounting tasks and data management. This immediate opportunity is within the education industry, supporting a very busy department. You will have the opportunity to support with Accounts Payable and high volume reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel abilities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage high-volume reconciliation tasks
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable
• Offer accounting support and carry out data entry tasks
• Work closely with the finance team, contributing to accurate reporting and efficient operations
• Handle the processing of invoices
• Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP for various tasks
• Maintain and manage records of accounts receivable
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Ensure account reconciliation tasks are carried out effectively
• Manage billing processes and operations.
Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), including processing payments and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, customer correspondence, and debt recovery.
• Proven ability in billing, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of invoices and credit notes.
• Strong data entry skills, with emphasis on accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
• Experience in invoice processing, including verifying accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely payment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis features.
• Familiarity with Oracle financial software, with the ability to effectively navigate and use its features for accounting tasks.
• Experience with QuickBooks, including setting up accounts, entering transactions, and generating reports.
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software, with the ability to use it for various financial operations.
