Description This search is being conducted by Steve Spinello. A growing logistics organization is in search of an Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team. The role is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and involves managing accounts payable and receivable, billing, and commercial collections. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and verify vendor invoices as part of accounts payable duties. • Manage payment schedules and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Prepare and issue customer invoices as part of accounts receivable duties. • Reconcile payments and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain a healthy cash flow. • Generate invoices with precision and ensure they align with contracts or service agreements. • Oversee commercial accounts collections and professionally communicate with clients about payment issues. • Maintain accurate and updated financial records using QuickBooks. • Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in day-to-day accounting tasks.
