Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be working within the subcontractor industry, handling high volume accounts payable and receivable. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in account reconciliation, billing, data entry, and invoice processing. Responsibilities: • Handle high volume accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed. • Leverage your knowledge of NetSuite and other accounting software like Oracle to manage and streamline financial processes. • Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and management, contributing to efficient record-keeping. • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments and balanced accounts. • Maintain accurate customer credit records, monitoring account activity and taking necessary action when needed. • Respond to customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service and resolution to any issues. • Work within the subcontractor/construction industry, understanding and applying industry-specific financial practices. • Assist in other accounting tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required • Must have solid experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processing and management • Demonstrated expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary • Familiarity with Progressive Billing procedures and practices is essential • Should possess strong Data Entry skills • Proficiency in Invoice Processing is mandatory • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required • Experience with NetSuite financial software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
