Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Bridgeton, Missouri. Your main role will be to manage and oversee both accounts payable and accounts receivable operations across multiple business entities. This role provides the opportunity to work in a small office setting where attention to detail and effective management of AP and AR processes are essential. Responsibilities • Oversee the accounts payable process, including the accurate matching of invoices with purchase orders and packing slips. • Ensure the efficient entry of invoices into the accounting system and the timely processing of check runs. • Manage the accounts receivable function, including the posting of payments and the sending of collection emails for past-due accounts. • Maintain a high level of professionalism and organization in a small office setting. • Manage financial transactions across two separate business entities, ensuring accurate recordkeeping. • Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel to perform your duties effectively. • Work across two business entities, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and transaction management. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), managing incoming payments and tracking outstanding debts • Ability to handle Billing duties, including issuing invoices and maintaining customer accounts • Strong Data Entry skills, accurately recording financial transactions in the company's database • Experience with Invoice Processing, ensuring that all invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, using it to organize, analyze, and report financial data Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
