TITLE:                    Accounting Clerk

LOCATION:           Millrock Corporate Office (Holladay, UT - In person)

STATUS:                Hourly, Full-time, Year-round

SCHEDULE:          Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 5pm

$19.00 Per Hour

SUMMARY

Snowbird is looking for an Accounting Clerk. Under the direction of Accounting Administration, you will prepare, audit, revise, file and organize billings for conferences, groups and wholesalers. Also, collects outstanding balances on accounts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Prepare, audit, revise, scan and index conference invoices.Prepare, audit, revise, scan and index wholesaler invoices.Collect past due invoices.Written and oral contact with billing contacts.Scan and index all group sales contracts and group information.Audit and resolve hotel room account and credit card processor disputes.Answers Hotel Accounting phone line and assists guests and owners with accounting inquiries.Distributes invoices for club members, trades, and internal management.Prepares and deposits cash and checks weekly.Prepares responses and back-up for credit card disputes.Other daily, weekly and monthly tasks associated with Hotel and Mountain billing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

High School Diploma or equivalent required.College degree in related field preferred. Additional related work experience may be substituted for education.1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.Must be at least 18 years of age.Requires the operation of basic office equipment and software, including but not limited to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.Requires task-specific training such as computer software training, typing skills, or other specialized training.Knowledge of sms | HOST by PAR-Springer Miller Systems recommended.Requires successful completion of a six to eight month on-the-job training.Ability to handle, process, maintain and protect guest personal information, including credit card information, in compliance with all company or department policies and procedures according to PCI rules and requirements. This includes privacy and confidentiality, reporting, storage and disposal of sensitive information. Will not share or disclose any guest personal or financial information to anyone unless authorized by the guest, manager or company or unless disclosure is permitted within departmental policies and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS

General office environment with limited physical activity.Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.  General office conditions prevail.Occasional travel to/from resort.
