Location Description For its first ever property in the Pacific Northwest, InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts debuts a luxurious property with more than 200 guest rooms, Grand and Junior Ballrooms, lobby bar, a gym, and a dedicated concierge team. Overview The “Avenue Bellevue” development is a newly constructed mixed-use hotel, retail & residence project "The Avenue" consisting of 365 luxury serviced condominium units in 2 towers opening Summer of 2024, surrounded and in synergy with the 208 rooms and suite first class “InterContinental Hotel Bellevue”, convention center, several restaurants, 1,000-unit parking garage and extensive 100.000sf luxury retail space. The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the InterContinental Bellevue. This position will be responsible for general cashiering, income auditing, accounts payable processing, and other essential accounting functions. You may also assist with Payroll duties and accounts receivable. Key Responsibilties: Perform general cashiering duties, ensuring accurate and timely handling of all cash transactions. Conduct daily income audits to verify revenue and identify discrepancies. Process accounts payable, including meticulous verification of invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and timely preparation of payments. Prepare and maintain financial records and reports in compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis. Assist with payroll processing using WorkDay, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Potentially handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or luxury service industry, but not required. Demonstrated proficiency in advanced accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Extensive experience with WorkDay is highly desirable. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $30.00/Hr. - $30.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
