Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This role involves aiding the accounting department with primarily accounts receivable duties, along with financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting tasks, ensuring precision and confidentiality. Responsibilities • Execute tasks related to accounts payable and receivable, including the accurate processing of invoices and payments • Uphold the integrity of financial records through recording transactions and account reconciliations • Produce financial reports, summaries, and statements as required • Support payroll processing activities while ensuring adherence to company policies and tax regulations • Facilitate the month-end and year-end closing processes • Engage with vendors and clients to rectify any billing or payment discrepancies • Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with audits • Manage digital and physical financial records in an organized manner • Assist in tracking budget and planning financial strategies. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as Accounting Assistant • Proficiency in Accounting Functions, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures • Proven experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) management • Experience in conducting Auditing, with an eye for accuracy and detail • Demonstrable skill in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial consistency • Familiarity with Quickbooks Online or similar accounting software • Experience with handling Deposits and ensuring they are accurately reflected in financial records • Proven experience in Cash Applications, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
