Description We are excited to add an Accounting Assistant to our team, based in Jacksonville, Arkansas. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity within the financial services industry. As an Accounting Assistant, your primary tasks will revolve around maintaining financial records, processing accounts, and managing job costing. Responsibilities: • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient data management. • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently. • Oversee job costing and contract review to ensure financial accuracy. • Use ADP - Financial Services and CaseWare to perform financial functions. • Engage in auditing processes to maintain financial integrity. • Carry out bank reconciliations using Concur. • Handle customer inquiries and take appropriate action. • Monitor and manage customer accounts for consistent service. • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications. • Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Familiarity with CaseWare is a significant advantage. • Proficiency in using Concur is necessary. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is beneficial. • Must have a solid understanding of Accounting Functions. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial. • Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is important. • Auditing skills are required for this role. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential.
