Accounting Assistant

What you'll do:

Compute, verify, review and post productionClose orders/run production reportsProcess and transmit Weekly Hourly payrollProcess accounts payable / purchase orders to ensure payments to vendors are charged to correct accountsProcess “Hold for Inspection” documents to determine if “suspect” goods are suitable for saleUnlock and lock-up main officePerform any special assignments or projects and provide assistance to the Accounting DepartmentPrepare/reconcile WIP and raw materials inventory monthlyResearch inventory discrepancies. Direct, research and correct production reporting issues for inventory controlMonthly close, generate and post journal entries. Make adjustments according to monthly inventories to control inventories, close books and generate monthly statementsDaily invoicing and create manual invoices for the sale of scrap materials

What you'll need to have:

High School Diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of related experience

•      Computer and math skills

                Preferred Qualifications:

College level accounting coursesFive (5) years of office manufacturing experience
