The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for supervising the MFS Accounting Systems department. Duties include meeting the needs of both external and internal customers in a timely and accurate manner and supervising MFS Accounting Systems teammates.

This position will require the candidate to report and work from the office four days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Carrollton, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:

Perform timely setup, changes, activation and inactivation of Customer/Vendor/Supplier Employee address book records.Setup and/or adjust; JDE Access, AS400 Profiles, Menu/Action/Business security.Send out G/L guide workbooks to franchisees and the setting up a customized G/L guide when returned.Review vendor setups, making the necessary address book adjustments (if needed) and meeting all deadlines set by the IRS in regard to 1099 reporting.Spearhead new business functions as it relates to the Accounting Systems department.Evaluate responsibilities of the team, realign resources to ensure that everyone is fully utilized and manage perception of team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must:

Bachelor's degree in accounting -OR- significant accounting education and/or experience.Possess high level of knowledge of all JDE environments.Have 2 years' experience of accounting.Understand many different systems and program additions/changes and their impacts within JDE.Have extensive knowledge of Excel and Outlook.Be able to supervise teammates and ensure that they understand their roles within the department.Have a strong understanding of Automated Accounting Instructions and G/L accounts.Have excellent organization skills and complete projects in a timely manner with strict guidelines.Have good communication skills and teammate interaction skills with teammates of all levels.Have knowledge or the ability to create ad-hoc queries and the familiarization of JDE files and fields.Have knowledge of the food distribution industry.
