Come join us on our journey to create innovative solutions for a sustainable future! **Where the Chemistry Happens…** BASF's Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. This internship allows interns to contribute to real-world business needs, while exploring career options and developing technical and professional decision-making skills. Interns will have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture, values, and decision-makers. **Program Summary:** + We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at one of BASF’s US locations. This program also offers undergraduate students the ability to apply their education and background to challenging assignments to build both technical and professional skills. + As a highly motivated undergraduate student, you will participate in a 10 to 12-week internship at one of BASF’s US locations. + Your ability to mobile is critical as US locations include, but are not limited to: New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana. + Interns will work in various areas such as Corporate Finance & Accounting, Regional Controlling, and Manufacturing Site Accounting and Analysis. + Successfully engaging across the business throughout your internship will expand your network, allow you to grow personally and professionally, and learn a variety of valuable skill sets. + All interns will be assessed throughout the summer for either a returning internship offer, or a full time offer for our 2-year rotational program. + Upon completion of the internship program, you will have the opportunity to present your summer project to other interns, BASF employees, and senior leaders. **Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You…** + Enhanced career and leadership development, and value delivery to BASF through planned assignments + Development of your expertise and the ability to network at senior levels throughout BASF and establish mentoring relationships that could span across your whole career. + Exposure to Accounting and Finance applications and tools _To learn more about our programs, visit:_ _www.basf.com/universitycareers_ _._ **Formula for Success...** + Undergraduate students majoring in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or other related business major. + Graduation date must fall between May 2026– July 2027 + Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship. + Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S. during the program. All assignments are in-person/hybrid. + Demonstrated previous leadership experience & academic achievement. + Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations. + Excellent communication skills + Interest in Manufacturing/Chemical industry + Previous internship/co-op experience preferred. + Project management experience is a plus. + Prior experience in PowerBI, SAP, Tableau, and advanced Excel proficiency are a plus. **Privacy Statement** BASF takes security & data privacy very seriously.
