Accountant responsibility - Three Rivers

\r\n\r\nReview, prepare and post month end journals including required accruals for completeness\r\nAbility to perform a review of individual accounts through to the company wide results\r\nResponsibility will extend into tax exposure, including but not limited to monthly VAT
calculations and lodgments – specific Countries\r\nResponsibility will extend into Payroll exposure, including but not limited to monthly payroll
postings, review, and reconciliations – specific Countries\r\nPayroll and operations Support – Export human resource hours and expenses paid\r\nReview and analyze monthly GP and Revenue\r\nPerform Revenue Forecasting and Cashflow projections\r\nIntercompany cost review and processing – Settlements and Matrix (Coprocess website based)\r\nCompletion of individual external audit requirements for half year and full year audits\r\nAssistance with the preparation of half and full year financial statements\r\nCompletion of Compliance related obligations as and when they arise\r\nAn ability to perform variance analysis in both written and verbal form as evidence of
monthly variances\r\nComplete preparation and review of monthly Balance sheet account reconciliations
including full country ownership\r\nSupport for the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial accounting for the Group\r\nSupport for senior management on ad hoc matters as they arise\r\nHandle full accounts payable activities\r\n\r\n

Skills & Attributes:

\r\n\r\nExcellent oral and written communication\r\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, or Finance or with strong accounting and analysis skills\r\nDemonstrate effective levels of data analysis skills, process improvement\r\nUnderstanding of best practice finance systems\r\nA capacity and desire to support peers in the wider team\r\nExcel – Intermediate to Advanced level\r\nMicrosoft office products\r\nExperience in use of finance systems including Sun Systems not negotiable\r\n
