JR62050 Accountant IIThis is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accountant to join Micron. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, focusing on accounting and month-end close activities.
Responsibilities and Tasks (include but are not limited to):Monthly close analytics, variance analysis, including ad hoc reportsPerform and validate monthly account reconciliations
Maintain expertise of internal policies and regulatory compliance requirements
Ensure compliance to SOX and internal control
Provide training to internal customers and peers
Connect with business partners and finance analysts
Provide support to Partners, incorporating external auditors
Communicating information to Finance Management

Key Skill/ProficienciesApply intermediate to sophisticated Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and manipulate financial data.SAP experience is highly desirable, enabling you to navigate our systems efficiently.Apply your expertise in accounting standards, including IFRS and USD GAAP, to ensure accurate financial reporting.Experience with Blackline, Ariba, and Concur is preferred, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.Apply your strong data analysis skills to derive valuable insights and chip in to informed decision-making.Preferred experience includes familiarity with PowerBI and RPA, allowing for the utilization of technology to streamline reporting and automate tasks efficiently.Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to address sophisticated financial challenges with confidence.Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, encouraging collaboration and effective communication with colleagues at all levels.Demonstrate autonomy and initiative by acting and operating independently.Thrive in a constantly evolving environment, working under deadlines and adapting to evolving priorities.Education & ExperienceQualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance, providing you with a great foundation in financial principles.Possess 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, demonstrating your validated expertise in the field.Shared service experience is preferred, highlighting your ability to work optimally in a team-oriented environment.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.About Micron Technology, Inc.
