The Accountants responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Assisting with all monthly, quarterly, and annual closings + Implementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures + Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements + Support finance functions including accounts payable, cash management, credit, inventory accounting, and asset management + Assisting with forecasting, cost and expense reviews, and report preparation [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: + 4-year degree in Accounting or related field + 3+ years experience in accounting roles Preferred Qualifications: + CPA, MBA, and/or MACC + Willingness to relocate for future opportunities throughout the Nucor entity + Experience with data visualization/analytical tools such as Power BI + Accounting experience in steel or other related manufacturing industries + Oracle EBS experience Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer – M/F/Disabled/Vets – and a drug – free workplace
