Accountant for Automotive Service Repair Centre - Alberton
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
Reconcile all GL accounts Debtors book: Debtors reports to be presented on a weekly and monthly basis Creditors book: Ensure that all invoices (COS and general expenses) are captured on a monthly basis Ensure that the creditors’ clerk reconciles all the books within specified dates Ensure cash flow status is maintained Proper expense controls are in place Proper controls of salaries and wages (employee related matters) Month end reporting (forecast and actual) Managing 3 staff members EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
3 - 5 years accounting experience Bachelor of Commerce is preferable Financial experience in an Automotive Service Centre would be preferable Attention to detail – of high importance Microsoft Office suite (Excel vital) Experience on at lease one of the financial bookkeeping systems ESSENTIAL High level of confidentiality and integrity Deadline driven Must be able to multitask People management skills Team player
