Description Job Posting: Accountant Location: Statesville, NC Are you an experienced accountant with expertise in QuickBooks, bill.com, accounts payables, accounts receivables, Avalara, multi-state sales tax filing, and cash applications? Our client in Statesville, NC is looking for a highly-skilled accounting professional to join their team and contribute to their financial operations. Responsibilities: + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. + Perform accurate and timely cash applications. + Utilize QuickBooks and bill.com for financial and workflow management. + Prepare and file multi-state sales tax using Avalara. + Maintain compliance with multi-state tax regulations and reporting standards. + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient accounting processes. + Troubleshoot accounting discrepancies and provide solutions. Requirements Requirements: + Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks and bill.com). + Hands-on experience with accounts payables, accounts receivables, and cash applications. + In-depth knowledge of Avalara and multi-state sales tax filing processes. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. + Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments. + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, but not required.
