Description We are in search of a Royalty Accountant to join our digital publisher and multimedia content company team based in NEW YORK, New York. The selected candidate will report to the Corporate Controller and manage the entire royalty cycle. This role requires strong data management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Key Responsibilities + Sales processing. + Balancing/reconciliation of sales files to the general ledger. + Maintenance/compliance of royalty rates. + Royalty payment accruals. + Author/publisher royalty statement preparation. + Processing royalty payments. + Fielding inquiries. + Administering the overall royalty cycle with guidance from the Corporate Controller Work Environment & Hiring Process + Hybrid schedule (On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). + Hiring process: Two rounds (Initial virtual interview, final in-person). Requirements Biggest Requirements + Any Royalty Accountant experience + Strong data skills + Comfortable working with large data sets + Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data processing). + Experience with large data sets and sales file processing. + Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. + Preferred: Experience with NetSuite and familiarity with contracts.
