Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, conducting data entry, managing accounts receivable, and assisting with general ledger work. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to navigate multiple files and computer programs in a paperless office environment.

ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices accurately and efficiently.Conduct data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and completeness.Manage accounts receivable (AR) tasks.Assist with general ledger work.Perform month-end and year-end reconciliation tasks.Prepare financial reports.Handle accounts payable and bank reconciliation tasks.Essential SkillsExperience with reconciliation and month-end processes.Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.Experience with Great Plains or other ERP/MRP systems.Strong accounting knowledge and financial reporting skills.Proficient in bank reconciliation tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAn Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience.Proficient with computers and highly skilled in the use of Excel spreadsheets.Comfortable working in a paperless office environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain flexibility, positivity, and professionalism in an environment with fluctuating priorities.Strong work ethic and willingness to work extra hours as needed, especially during audits, month-end, and year-end.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00
