Responsibilities: • Handling daily cash and sales transactions to ensure accurate records • Conducting research to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts • Creating and posting journal entries to track financial transactions • Reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial records • Performing month-end close procedures for timely financial reporting • Managing accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payments • Utilizing accounting software systems to streamline accounting functions • Conducting audits to verify the accuracy of financial information • Assisting with cash posting and cash reconciliations to maintain accurate cash records • Carrying out other accounting duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential • Demonstrated ability to perform all accounting functions • Experience in managing accounts receivable (AR) • Familiarity with auditing processes and principles • Knowledge of cash posting and cash reconciliations • Ability to handle daily cash receipts • Experience in sales analysis and reporting • Skills to research and resolve discrepancies • Proven track record in account reconciliation • Ability to handle month-end close procedures • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required • Professional certification such as CPA is preferred • Previous experience in the restaurant and catering industry would be advantageous • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required.
