Caseware Pastel Partner VIP payroll or similar MS office XERO (not essential) Responsibilities of position:
Relevant degree and qualification in finance, SAIPA qualification would be beneficial Responsible for managing key relationships with clients (4 – 20 companies that vary in size) Proven bookkeeping experience up to trial balance Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles Solid understanding of VAT (Vatable / non-vatable supplies, calculating VAT, processing and capturing transactions involving VAT) Reconciling bank statements, customers and suppliers for various clients Adapting quickly between the nature of business of each client and the way each client is processed Experience and a solid understanding of SARS submissions (E-filing) Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Hands-on experience with spreadsheets High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Payroll processing Able to manage, teach and mentor a team of 5 bookkeepers If you would like to email your CV directly – please send it to [email protected]
