As an Account Supervisor, you will collaborate with the LATAM Marketing team, a group of talented professionals dedicated to developing and executing cutting-edge marketing and communications strategies across the region. Your role will involve spearheading both regional and local marketing efforts for our operations in Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.
Our Marketing function operates at the forefront of cross-sector programs, pioneering intellectual property and research, and engaging employees with innovative initiatives. We create a continuous flow of captivating content that garners recognition for Edelman and attracts top-tier talent and clients across the region. As the Senior Institutional Communication Analyst, you will drive the evolution of Edelman's Communications Marketing processes, including strategic planning to captivate our audience, media relations, event management, regional, local, and global award submissions, as well as initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
*Safeguard Edelman's brand by ensuring our brand guidelines, positioning, and key messages are effectively amplified throughout Latin America. *Collaborate with a cross-geographical team to ensure seamless support for global and regional marketing strategies across local markets (Spanish-speaking countries) Support regional and local strategies to showcase Edelman's work through award submissions. *Develop compelling roundtable discussions for Edelman’s owned events and support in event production. *Assist in deploying regional initiatives for internal communications and fostering employee engagement. *Identify speaking opportunities at industry’s events and in the media for our operations in the region, maintaining consistent brand promotion and positioning. You'll provide guidance to our spokespeople, craft media briefings, and coordinate impactful interviews with journalists. *Collaborate closely with C-level executives and senior leadership, as well as our People Team, ensuring internal communications and engagement initiatives seamlessly align with Edelman's business objectives and employer branding. *Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective daily interactions with C-level
Qualifications:
*Fully bilingual (English-Spanish). Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus. *A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing or related fields such as PR, journalism, communications consulting, media, or publishing. *A bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field. *Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, accompanied by a flair for storytelling to craft high-quality, channel-appropriate internal and external communications. *Exceptional ability to lead and manage multiple small to medium-sized projects concurrently. *Proven track record in media relations (experience with marketing and business media is highly desirable) and a clear understanding of PR and institutional communications.*Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective daily interactions with C-level executives and senior leadership.
