What the day will look like: The Account Specialist I will assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes for a book of Commercial Risk Business. Skills and experience that will lead to success: Demonstrates strong interpersonal and project management skills. Uses a detailed approach to maintain regular contact with clients. Maintains rapport and open, effective communication. Performs account servicing functions including miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing. Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests. Actively supports and monitors the renewal process. Where applicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively. Acts as the primary collaborator with Aon accounting team on client invoicing and collections. Receives and runs routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals. Understands best practices and leverages available resources, including centers of excellence (COEs) and ACS. Experience with Microsoft Office is required. Education: Associate's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience. Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred, or to be acquired within 120 days of start date. The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 to $60,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
