Account Specialist, Canada (Contract)

The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial competence, strong business acumen, leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques, critical thinking proficiency, and exceptional communication skills.  The candidate must be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done. This candidate must be self-sufficient and confident in their ability to deliver meaningful results and prioritize our program with the client.

Primary Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between Asurion and Walmart HQ sales, located in Mississauga Ontario Canada.Develop strong client relationships (up to the Program Director level) and implement protection plan growth initiatives throughout the Walmart organization, with a strong focus on point of sale execution.Meet or exceed established financial and growth targets and manage day-to-day responses to product related reporting needs.Assess and respond to gaps between current product performance by developing reporting that can drive strategic focus and tactics that increase sales.Deliver all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting to include monthly actual, quarterly rolling forecast, and annual operating plans in support of Asurion’s business.Preparation and presentation of financial results

Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience of related business experience with demonstrated progression of responsibility or position. Supporting sales and marketing experience preferred but not requiredAbility build and maintain relationships while partnering effectively across a diverse client organization.Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to demonstrate high sense of ownership and accountabilityProven analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions through clear and concise data insights.Expert level skills in ExcelDeep understanding of Tabeau and SQL conceptsStrong organizational skills, self-motivated with initiative, able to multi-task, and meet deadlinesClear, fact-driven, articulate & persuasive oral, written, and presentation skills
