Account Representative

The Account Representative develops and manages a portfolio of clients in the tax and accounting industry. The role provides product information and demonstrations to potential customers; as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.  Account Executives also partner with other groups such as sales operations, marketing, pre-sales support, customer success, and professional services to ensure we are providing the best possible experience for our customers.

About the Role: 

In this opportunity as an Account Representative, you will:

Develop your territory by identifying and nurturing new prospects and client opportunities.Build and cultivate long term client partnerships by anticipating and assessing customer needs, identifying risks and offering appropriate solutions.Act as the primary point of contact for all client matters.Effectively communicate value propositions and conduct large group presentations.Conduct consultative sales processes focused on understanding the customer’s business needs, challenges and goals.Position products and solutions suited to customer requirements.Negotiate and close deals.Manage book of business including forecasting, account management, and customer relationship management.Provide input to marketing regarding product enhancements and new products.Participate in events and webcasts to showcase thought leadership.Use technology tools effectively, including Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relations Management (CRM) system and e-mail.
 

About You:

You may be a fit for the role if you have/are:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or relevant field.Minimum three years of software/SaaS sales experience.Experience working in a matrix environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences of all sizes.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form collaborative relationships internally and externally.Highly motivated to succeed with a “can do” attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Travel may be required.
