Job Description
The Account Relationship Manager is a business development position managing a current customer base while simultaneously developing and expanding the customer base in the assigned territory. Daily activities include direct customer communication (in-person, virtual meeting environment, email, and phone interactions), collaboration with customer service, logistics, procurement, and vendors to ensure customer service expectations are met. Daily, weekly, and monthly activities will also include bid management in collaboration. The Sales Manager will plan and execute goals and objectives to promote profitably, while strengthening relationships throughout the distribution channel, as well as manage all aspects of the selling process
Responsibilities
+ Establish and nurture relationships with key personnel at 50-80 assigned accounts.
+ Work independently to solve problems and meet customer needs.
+ Collaborate with a team of 4 other account representatives to collectively work the market.
+ Attend events and conferences, both within Southern California and occasionally out of state, to meet new people and represent the company.
+ Conduct presentations and training sessions for customers.
+ Coordinate and lead customer account review meetings.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and support.
+ Utilize critical thinking skills to address customer challenges and opportunities.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.

+ Extroverted personality or willingness to engage with new people.
+ Willingness to travel within Southern California, including some overnight trips.
+ Availability for limited weekend work and occasional out-of-state travel for conferences (4-5 per year).
+ Strong presentation and training skills.
+ Quick learner with a customer service focus.
+ Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Sales experience is a plus, but not required.
+ Program management experience.
+ Proficiency in Excel pivot tables.
+ Ability to run, review, and analyze data.
+ Provide recommendations to leadership based on data analysis.
+ Ability to write emails effectively to internal/external stakeholders.
+ Identify and develop processes and procedures.
+ Bachelors degree (preferred)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $77000.00/yr.
