As a Field Sales Account Manager in the CCG RSD Division, you will have the unique opportunity to directly contribute to the sale of our exceptional products and services to Academic Segment customers. Through face-to-face and virtual methods such as email, phone, and video conferencing, you will build strong, collaborative relationships with customers and suppliers, driving continued partnership and growth.

What will you do?

Perform sales calls to understand customer needs and independently make decisions to implement tailored solutions that meet expectationsUnderstand the structure, relationships, and connections in key accounts and build strategies that align with key decision makersOptimize partnerships with a broad network of cross-functional internal and external collaborators to drive revenue targetsDevelop and implement sales strategies and plans to expand business; identify new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectivesResearch competitor and industry activity to remain informed of new products/services and other general information of interest to customersUse analytics to build strategies and uncover opportunities ; generate opportunities by introducing new productsMaintain accurate reporting, records, and files critical for accurate management of territoryPositively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locationsResponsibilities:Exhibit a high level of self-discipline and is looked upon to coach or mentor teammates in planning and prioritizing sales activitiesSet strategic sales and business goals, implements plans to meet short and long term objectivesMaintain the direction of the sales territory to achieve growth and maintains a strong pipeline of opportunitiesStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.Possess the ability to multi-task and meet target datesProficiency in MS Office, pricing and analytics tools, and ability to learn new digital toolsAccurately and promptly submits reports and expenses claimsWilling to travel to customer sites, sales meetings and for training events, as neededUnderstand when to raise issues to manager; perform other tasks assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree, with a preference for Science or Business degrees. Equivalent experience will also be considered.Demonstrable sales experience in a life science settingProficiency in CRM tools, preferably SalesforceAccount Management experience, with distribution/supplier relationship experience preferredKnowledge of the Swedish Biotech ecosystem is advantageousAbility to function effectively in a high-performance teamDemonstrate a positive attitude and desire to succeed in commercialStrong verbal and writing skills in English and Swedish.Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environmentComputer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams or similar programs required
