Account Manager IBT KSA & Bahrain

The Account Manager Corporate (IBT + Groups) will be based in Riyadh and will identify, manage, and grow the highest value and largest potential accounts for Hilton worldwide in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. This role will focus on managing these accounts on local, national, international, and global levels where relevant. The Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of major Government Accounts to exceed short and long-term revenue targets for Hilton in the Middle East and abroad.

The Account Manager Corporate  (IBT + Groups) role will work within the HWS KSA & Bahrain Team. They will develop and maintain relationships with key CORPORATE and MICE Accounts, such as wholesalers and tour operators, to exceed short and long-term revenue goals for Hilton worldwide.

What will I be doing?

\n

Planning Activities (20%)

\n\nDevelop strategies for accounts under management.\nIdentify and evaluate business opportunities for the company.\nExecute strategic account development plans and communicate key messages internally and externally.\nEstablish long-term business goals and annual operational plans.\nCreate and establish relevant procedures and processes.\nResponsible for implementing strategy and activities for the sales function.\nQuickly determine the segments within accounts with the highest potential opportunities.\n\n

Organizing Activities (50%)

\n\nIdentify resources, oversee activities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to meet objectives and sales goals.\nEnsure the strategic direction of the account base aligns with the company's revenue strategies.\nDevelop account plans with specific objectives and sales activities to support account strategy.\nBuild and sustain long-term relationships with key customers to drive business.\nManage the Corporate RFP process, ensuring proper procedures to support clients and drive business to Hilton.\nHandle MICE client relationships, manage RFPs and group requests.\nKeep internal and external stakeholders updated on developments.\nEvaluate the impact of marketing initiatives on account strategies.\nNetwork with sub-account handlers and global leads.\nStrengthen relationships with key hotels and align strategies.\nCommunicate strategy, account plans, and activities regularly, alongside relevant issues, opportunities, and successes.\nCoordinate cross-functional links across teams, departments, and functions.\nRegularly meet with account bases within the sales territory.\nAttend industry conferences and events.\n\n

Controlling Activities (30%)

\n\nDirect and implement controls and systems.\nAssess performance to ensure success and make corrective actions.\nEstablish and enforce policies to improve overall operations.\nFollow approved processes for activities and expenses for optimal financial results.\nMaintain Hilton Best Practices to ensure accurate customer account information.\nKeep customer information updated through Hilton’s procedures.\nProvide accurate reports to review account performance and communicate future plans.\nIdentify new opportunities for account penetration.\n\n

Supportive Functions In addition to essential duties, the role may include:

\n\nRegular communication with hotels to ensure productive meetings and cross-referencing customer information.\nAttendance at sales workshops.\nSupport during sales weeks and blitzes.\nSupport joint calls for colleagues.\nOrganize familiarization trips and support hotel clients’ attendance.\nHost WebEx calls for key hotels to support conversion.\nAdditional tasks as needed.\n

What are we looking for?

Minimum Qualifications

\n\nUniversity degree or equivalent experience.\nSignificant experience in customer-facing, revenue-generating roles, especially in the Group, Meetings, and Events segment.\nExperience working in multi-cultural or international settings.\nFluency in English.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.\nFlexibility to travel.\n\n
