Account Manager (DUA Underwriter)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) team at Marsh UK. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with insurers and the Specialty Practice, focusing on the placement of Quota Share eligible risks into the facility insurers, while working alongside the QS DUA team.

We will count on you to:

Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with brokers and designated clients (facility insurers), following up on correspondence.

Work to strengthen and grow account relationships between MPS and the insurers.

Provide training on processes and the DUA for Marsh broker colleagues.

Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helping to manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks, and apply judgment as to when to escalate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.

Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations.

Present facility performance analysis to our facility insurers.

What you need to have:

We are looking either for a grad/entry level candidate or an experienced insurance professional.

Ability to build relationships internally at all levels of senior management and peers within other departments is essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
