This role, based in our Auckland Commercial team, involves managing and growing an existing client portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a diligent team player with excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, contributing to all facets of client service.
The Role
Ensure that the client’s risk management and insurance broking programs are administered to ensure the delivery of high-quality services with a focus on client retention and business development Full preparation of client documentation and ensuring 100% accuracy prior to distribution to clients and insurers Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients and other key stakeholders, representing WTW in a professional manner Maintain comprehensive client data on WTW systems, facilities and databases Compare renewal terms with the previous year and re-negotiate if required Collaboration with other colleagues to facilitate the growth and success of WTW Work in conjunction with the support team to ensure the preparation and delivery of documentation Liaise with the Team Leader on any issues the team may experience and provide suggestions for improvement Handle client claims by responding to inquiries, advising on the claims process, coordinating with the Claims Team and insurance assessors, and ensuring timely settlements and adherence to claims standards Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance proceduresThe Requirements
Insurance broking/industry experience of at least five annual business cyclesExcellent technical skills in coverage and wording reviewLevel 5 insurance qualification or willingness to attain the qualificationSound oral and written communication skills both on an individual and small group basisExcellent report writing and correspondence skillsAbility to prioritise work and manage a diverse and busy workloadA team player with the ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trustProficient in all MS Office productsWillingness to learn and the desire to take on additional duties when required
