Account Manager

Responsibilities:Establish and nurture relationships across various levels and departments within the account to penetrate and expand account reachConduct regular business reviews, utilizing internal analytics and market intelligence to gain customer insights, identify growth opportunities, and present strategic solutionsCollaborate internally, cross-functionally, and with sales teams to develop effective supply chain solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and streamline processes from onboarding to execution using SOPs, KPIs, and automationEngage in effective negotiation strategies regarding pricing and solutions, staying abreast of customer business changes for opportunity identificationManage conflicts diplomatically, advocate for customer needs within the organization, and align resources for customer prioritiesDevelop and execute pricing strategies by leveraging insights into customer buying behaviors, Robinson Fresh supply chain position, and utilizing internal tools and expertise from service line and pricing subject matter expertsLead Request for Proposal (RFP) initiatives tailored to clients within the portfolioPerforms other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of previous sales and/or account management experienceAbility to travel up to 25% (domestically)

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisionsStrong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills (ability to persuade, motivate and influence others), and business acumenAbility to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent resultsStrong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgencyExcellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employeesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsValues a diverse and inclusive work environment

Compensation Range

$26.15 - $40.82
