Account Director (Audio)

This role reports to Regional Sales Manager - Audio
Overview of job
As an Account Director, you will be supporting Local Sales by selling our portfolio of Audio
classic and digital products to new customers, and growing and retaining our existing direct customer base, across the private and public sector markets.
You are an ambassador of Global and are an expert in the knowledge of our Audio products, inventory and Global brands.
You will operate at the highest level with the highest revenue expectation and will provide a role model and mentor to more junior members of your team

Responsibilities of the role
Maintain and grow existing client revenue with a clear quarterly plan.
Understand the needs of your clients to identify the best possible marketing solutions, improving value and driving profitable yields.
Achieve the weekly face to face meeting KPIs, recorded accurately in Salesforce.
Be proactive in Salesforce management daily - Pipeline / forecasting.
Accurately forecast across your marketplace.
Excellent internal relationships to work with our Creative Solutions team to produce compelling and innovative solutions for large revenue orders.
Establish a clear growth/value plan that outlines a strategic approach.
Build an annual revenue plan that reflects each of your clients objectives and review monthly.
Deliver exceptional customer service, building customer relationships to gain continuous business and referrals.
Be able to effectively plan and book a campaign in our systems
Be an expert in understanding Global’s full suite of products and how they can help clients achieve their campaign objectives.
Adhere to credit policy at all times and ensure discounting is kept to an absolute minimum.
Invest in self-development, attend all relevant training opportunities, and look to progress to being a people manager of the future
Actively stay on top of all internal communications such as Workplace, The Catch Up & Digital Bytes.
Assist in mentoring and coaching Account Managers across our teams as required
Ability to effectively deputise for the Regional Sales Manager

Complete understanding of the pattern of the sale from opening to close and able to use this to mentor and coach others.
Driven and goal oriented mindset with the ability and desire to self-generate new business leads and meetings.
Excellent listening skills that establish client needs and put the client’s objectives first
Be socially confident and able to demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence, engage and build excellent rapport with your agencies.
Be able to develop positive relationships with internal support and product teams.
Ability to build sophisticated multiplatform briefs and annual campaigns working with the campaign support team
Expert in planning systems and skills to build effective campaigns.
Expert in Salesforce and be able to record activity at all stages of the sales process from lead creation to win and booking business.
Resilient, self-driven, and able to work autonomously with excellence in time and diary management
Ownership of own development and invest in development of others
Seeks out opportunities to share knowledge and develop others by understanding how to encourage and lead in a way that works for different individuals and situations
